Anna found it to be sturdy and secure when affixed to her bed with the legs securely snapping into the frame and the zips securely secured to ensure baby safety. It took her about 10 minutes to assemble and did not require tools, and comes with clear instructions and a video or support number if you encounter any problems.

This is one of the more expensive models, but it comes with a lot of features. It can be used either a side-sleeper or as a standalone crib, and is suitable for infants from birth to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel with a new mechanism. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor with 11 different height levels and retractable feet for a secure installation under any bed.
Our testers loved the ease of access provided by the side panel which can be moved upwards and down with one click of a button. This was a huge help during feeding times at night as it meant that they could easily reach inside and take their baby away without waking them up.
The side panel can be lowered by itself however, it's not recommended since it increases the risk of your child falling out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism guarantees that it can only remain in place if it is connected to the parent's bed correctly. This feature can be very beneficial to have peace of mind when you are breastfeeding and need frequent nighttime feeds.
Telescopic legs permit the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed including divan bases or beds with drawers. It features a tilting feature for babies with reflux, as well as a rocking function to help soothe them to sleep after a feeding. It's also extremely spacious and provides excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.
